LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) is a digital preservation system that allows libraries to store and preserve authorized scholarly content locally. It protects access by maintaining multiple copies across participating institutions.

CLOCKS

CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS) is a not-for-profit digital preservation agency that maintains a secure dark archive of scholarly content. It ensures long-term access by releasing content only when it is no longer available from the publisher.
